QUETTA: At least three labourers were gunned down in the Hoshab Bazaar area near Turbat, Balochistan on Friday.
According to sources in Balochistan Levies, the workers, who hailed from Punjab’s Rahim Yar Khan, had left their camp to buy groceries when they were targeted.
The deceased, identified as Mohammad Tahir, Mohammad Nasir, Mohammad Sawal were working on a road construction site under the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO).
The incident details were confirmed by Deputy Commissioner Kech Sarmad Saleem.
The attack came days after gunmen killed at least at least 10 labourers, who were working on a road project linked with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor near Gwadar.
The outlawed Baloch Libration Army had claimed responsibility for the massacre.
