Police arrest man for killing Afghan boy over Rs25 dispute in Karachi

KARACHI: Police arrested, on Tuesday, a man who allegedly shot dead an Afghan teenager over a dispute over Rs25.

Ayaz Malik reportedly killed 15-year-old Noor Agha, on Sunday, for asking to be paid compensation for cleaning Malik’s apartment in the Karimabad area of Karachi.

Azizabad Station House Officer (SHO) Jamal Leghari said the accused was apprehended near the airport on Tuesday when he was trying to escape the country.

Uber driver shot dead in Karachi for resisting robbery

Malik shot the Afghan boy and fled the incident site following which the police started investigating the murder.

The accused, on his arrest said that the teenage boy died because of an accidental fire.
